Mice don't see your house — they smell it.
A mouse navigates almost entirely by scent. Their world is a map of pheromone trails laid down by other mice, leading to food, water, nesting spots, and safe entry points. It's how they decide a home is worth moving into.
Concentrated peppermint and clove oil don't poison or trap them. They do something simpler: they overwhelm the scent receptors mice rely on. The trails disappear. The map breaks down. The house stops smelling like an opportunity and starts smelling like a problem.
Within 72 hours of placement, repellent activity peaks. With a slow-release tablet, that activity holds steady — instead of fading after a week the way pouches and sprays do.
Snap traps and poison solve one mouse — not the next ten.
Sealing entry points, cleaning food crumbs, and setting the occasional trap are essential. There's no repellent that replaces basic prevention.
But traps and bait stations only deal with the mouse you already have. They do nothing to stop the next one from following the same scent trail to the same spot — which is why most homeowners catch one mouse, breathe a sigh of relief, and then catch another a week later.
That's where a slow-release repellent tablet fits in: not as a replacement for the basics, but as the layer that tells the next mouse not to come in at all.

Two oils that actually work — finally at a real concentration.
Peppermint oil is the famous one — but on its own, it fades fast. Clove oil is the one most brands leave out. The active compound in clove, eugenol, is recognized by the EPA as a minimum-risk repellent and shows up more consistently in the rodent-deterrent research than cinnamon or cedarwood ever did.
Most natural repellents bury 5% peppermint inside a four-oil cocktail to look impressive on the label. Our tablets do the opposite: a concentrated peppermint + clove blend, slow-released from a self-contained tablet that doesn't leak, stain, or fade in a week. Up to 90 days per tablet.
Plant-derived. Biodegradable. Free from rodenticides, neurotoxins, and harsh synthetic chemicals. Keep out of reach of children and pets — concentrated essential oils are potent, especially around cats. Ask your veterinarian about safe placement if you have one in the home.

Results may vary based on infestation level, placement, and environmental conditions. This product is designed to help repel rodents and insects but is not guaranteed to eliminate active infestations and is not a replacement for professional pest control services. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Concentrated essential oils may be harmful if ingested or in direct contact — consult your veterinarian about safe placement if you have cats in the home. Questions, Answered
Everything most people ask before their first pack.
Most people notice activity dropping off within 72 hours of placement — less scratching at night, fewer droppings, mice moving on instead of moving in.
Full results usually settle in by the end of the first week. Tablets continue working for up to 90 days per piece, so place them once and let them do their job.
It repels — it doesn't kill. That's the point. No corpses to find, no dead-mouse smell rotting behind your fridge, no risk to pets that might find a poisoned mouse.
Mice navigate by scent. Concentrated peppermint and clove overwhelm the trails they rely on, so your home stops registering as a safe place to be — and they leave on their own.
Sprays and DIY cotton balls fade in 3 to 7 days. The oil evaporates, the scent disappears, and the mice come right back. That's the most common complaint about every "natural" repellent on the market.
Our tablets are a slow-release format — peppermint and clove are bound into the tablet matrix and dose out steadily over up to 90 days. Same active ingredients, completely different delivery system.
Tablets are plant-derived, biodegradable, and free of rodenticides, neurotoxins, and harsh synthetic chemicals — much safer than poison bait stations or snap traps.
That said, concentrated essential oils aren't food. Keep tablets out of direct reach of children, dogs, and curious pets. Cats metabolize essential oils differently than dogs or humans and can be more sensitive — if you have a cat in the home, place tablets where the cat can't access them and check with your vet if you're unsure.
One tablet covers roughly 65 sq ft. As a starting point: 1 tablet per small room, 2–3 for a full home (kitchen, garage, basement), 4–6 for a larger home with outbuildings, 8+ for a barn or full property.
Place them at entry points and hiding spots — under sinks, behind the fridge, along baseboards, in pantries, garages, attics, sheds, RV cabins, feed storage. The closer to where mice are actually traveling, the faster you'll see results.
As long as your home keeps registering as a hostile environment, mice keep looking elsewhere. Replace tablets every 90 days for continuous protection — especially in fall and winter when rodents are most actively looking for shelter.
Many customers cycle pouches out seasonally: a full placement in October before the cold sets in, a refresh in spring. RV and barn owners typically replace before winter storage.
Both. Eugenol (the active in clove oil) is recognized by the EPA as a minimum-risk repellent for a broad range of insects including spiders, ants, cockroaches, and silverfish. Peppermint adds additional deterrent activity.
You won't replace a dedicated insect treatment for an active infestation, but you'll notice meaningfully fewer pests around the areas where tablets are placed.
The scent is noticeable up close — that's a sign it's working — but tablets are designed to release steadily, not all at once. Most customers describe it as a clean, slightly spicy peppermint, similar to walking past a candle.
If you find it strong at first, that's normal in the first 48 hours as the tablet stabilizes. It mellows quickly.

Active infestations (visible nests, droppings everywhere, multiple mice spotted in a day) usually need professional pest control on top of a repellent. Our tablets are designed to keep mice from settling in or coming back — not to clear out an established colony on their own.
